The Bavarian brand LeuchtNatur was created in 2017 out of a fascination for veneer wood. When founder Matthias Stölzle held a light source behind the thin material, he experienced a unique lighting effect that motivated him to create further veneers and high-quality lights. The modern company has received numerous awards for innovative and green design - sustainably produced in Bavaria.
Every LeuchtNatur product is truly unique. The use of natural materials such as wood, hay, slate and felt means that no two luminaires are the same, but have individual grains and a unique feel. Just all natural light!
All LeuchtNatur lights are handmade in Bavaria (Chiemgau) - exclusively from materials from Austria and Germany. The LeuchtNatur veneers are the most economical use of resources, as the sheets cut from the tree trunk are only 0.5 mm thick. The translucent slate veneers made of real stone are unique.
LeuchtNatur creates "Save the RainForest" veneers by hand. These are visionary fantasy decors or imitations of the wooden image of tropical trees. However, they are made from fast-growing trees such as poplar or oak.
LeuchtNatur's most unusual material is hand-grown organic alpine hay from South Tyrol, partly with flowers. It does not contain any harmful substances or fertilizers. Only harmless binding agents are used in the veneer.
