WOOD TRANSFORMS LIGHT
In the spirit of nature: Founded in Valencia, Spain, in 1994, LZF specializes in the creation of high-quality, handcrafted luminaires with a graceful real wood veneer. His secret: the Timberlite process. This eliminates contaminating processes in order to achieve maximum sustainability. The veneer is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and is an example of responsible forestry.

Light with a soul: The Swirl luminaire series from Ray Power offers the eye an exciting spectacle and, like most LZF lamps, is made by hand from wood veneer.

High-tech art: Burkhard Dämmer's Cervantes is inspired by the ruff of the Spanish writer Señor Miguel de Cervantes. A concave lens ensures ideal light distribution.

It-piece: The X-Club, also by Burkhard Dämmer, radiates sensuality and modernity with its curvy shape. The property is suitable for residential areas as well as for trendy clubs, for example.

The origami light: Yonoh Estudio Creativo developed the Pleg, whose graceful lightness is reminiscent of a folded sheet of paper. The light streams warmly through the attractive curved wood veneer.

Luis Eslava - Agatha
Luis Eslava studied at the renowned Royal College of Art in London and spent some time in Japan. In 2008, he founded his own studio, with which he also designed the Agatha luminaire series for LZF. Their dramatic presence is created by their appealing wood veneer strips consisting of elegant interlacing swirls. These emerge concentrically from their center, giving the impression of blossoming. However, the lamp was inspired by the wavy hairstyle of the English writer Agatha Christie.

Mariví Calvo - Gea
Co-founder Marivi Calvo is a co-founder of LZF and is considered an avant-garde artist. As creative director, she is responsible for all of the company's campaigns. The Gea luminaire series, a versatile all-rounder, comes from her pen. Their modest form radiates intelligence, self-confidence and clarity. In combination with the warm light, which harmonizes with the elegant wood veneer, it is an unshakeable performer in living and public areas.

Ray Power - Air
The Irish-born designer is a veteran of LZF. He was already working with the company in 1998. For this reason, many luminaire series originate from his pen, including the Link, New Wave, Swirl and of course the Air. The Air is an enchanting luminaire that embodies the designer's penchant for creating an imaginative, three-dimensional form from flat materials. The folded wood veneer creates a unique lighting ambience full of balance, calm and restraint.
