The lighting manufacturer Terzani was founded in Florence in 1972 by Sergio Terzani. Since then, the company has worked continuously and successfully to harmonize traditional Italian craftsmanship with modern technology. This has resulted in numerous lighting ideas with the highest standards of art, luxury and design.
After Sergio Terzani began to write company history in 1972, his success was driven even further from the mid-1980s onwards under the influence of French designer Jean-Francois Crochet. The symbiosis of Italian craftsmanship and French understanding of design has produced numerous stylish and classic lights that are second to none.
Terzani has focused on designing and producing high-quality luxury lighting. To achieve this, the company is constantly experimenting with new technologies and pioneering creations, which are reflected in stylish glass and metal lighting sculptures with great attention to detail.
The Terzani team tests new technology and materials in its own "Lighting Lab" - a perfect starting point for implementing innovative ideas for lighting design. Terzani also regularly commissions renowned designers such as Nigel Coates, Maurizio Galante, Christian Lava and Dodo Arslan to create new designer luminaires. Terzani's ambition for the future is to continue to focus on new ideas and thus redefine the luxury lighting segment.

Terzani has created a whole family of masterpieces with the Ortenzia luminaire series. A hydrangea in all its floral splendor was the inspiration for designer Bruno Rainaldi. Many small individual metal blossoms give the Ortenzia its shape. And so today it is available as a ceiling, wall, pendant and table lamp. The light draws fascinating patterns through the optionally silver or golden flowers - an extremely pleasant light pattern is guaranteed.
The Tresor luminaire series also features gold or silver-colored metal plates - in this case fine round sequins. Wonderful light reflections are guaranteed with these expressive lights - available as wall, ceiling or pendant lights. The designer behind these impressive lighting objects is the Frenchman Jean-Francois Crochet.
The Argent pendant light is a truly modern classic from Terzani. It fills the room like a cloud made of a delicate interplay of silver and is guaranteed to attract everyone's attention. Countless metal sequins, reminiscent of a whole galaxy of stars, create fabulous effects in this artistic light sculpture by Dodo Arslan. Attached to fine wire ropes, the stainless steel plates branch out to form a delicate yet pompous structure.
