WiZ lamps show what smart lighting has to offer - easier than ever. The integrated WLAN chip in every WiZ lamp makes it easy to start using smart lighting at any time. Compared to ZigBee, for example, no additional bridge is required for the full range of functions. With the pre-installed feel-good modes and lighting scenarios, you can also start experiencing smart lighting straight away. The system can later be expanded thanks to compatibility with smart home systems such as IFTTT, Enki and ImperiHome.
Individual light for every everyday situation with up to 16 million colors and 64,000 different color temperatures, for example for a dinner together, for reading or working.
Customized lighting routines and time schedules for everyday life. Examples include an automatic color temperature curve to support the biorhythm or presence simulation during vacations.
Control all light sources and defined groups via the WiZ app - wherever you are. Can also be controlled with the WiZmote remote control and by voice.
WiZ SpaceSense turns WiZ lamps into motion detectors - without additional sensors. The function is built into every product and uses Wi-Fi Sensing, which works solely with the help of the Wi-Fi signal. At least two WiZ products are required in one room for setup.
WiZ lamps have an integrated WLAN chip with which they establish a direct connection to the WiZ cloud. A central hub or gateway is therefore not required. The constant connection also ensures regular system updates.
WiZ and Philips Hue both belong to the Signify company, but they work differently. If you are using a smart lamp for the first time, WiZ is the ideal entry-level product. Philips Hue is also intuitive, but requires a hub or gateway to be able to use the full range of functions.

Wiz lamps can be controlled in various ways. The basis is always WLAN technology, which is integrated into every WiZ lamp and luminaire.
With the free WiZ app for Android and iOS, all functions are conveniently available at the touch of a finger on your smartphone or tablet. Operation is intuitive. The light sources can be easily combined into groups or rooms, allowing them to be controlled together. It is also possible to easily set schedules or automatic lighting routines. This means that WiZ lamps can also be used to simulate presence while on vacation. The app also enables access from any location while on the move.
With the WiZmote remote control, the light can be controlled without an app. The remote control from WiZ includes all functions such as switching on and off or dimming. It also has four memory buttons for individual favorite light scenes. The constantly evolving remote control is available in a new version called Wi-Fi WiZmote. This is a wireless remote control with a range of up to 15 m that can control all lamps in the room without having to be aimed at the light source like an infrared remote control.
The smart WiZ lamps can be linked to Google Home, the Apple HomePod or the Amazon Echo Dot. The voice assistants Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri (Shortcuts) can be used via these. Voice control is possible from the smartphone via Google Assistant (Android) and Siri Shortcuts (iOS).
The battery-operated motion sensor from WiZ can be mounted anywhere in the interior and switches on the lights defined by the app when motion is detected. A popular application is in the hallway. When it is difficult to operate a light switch with fully loaded hands, the WiZ motion detector provides convenience.
Some well-known brands also use the WiZ platform and can therefore be easily integrated into the app. This expands the system to include luminaires and light sources from other manufacturers so that WiZ products can be even better matched to individual furnishing styles.
