Do you have a sloping roof? Or maybe a really, really long, narrow hallway? Angled rooms with lots of dark corners? Or perhaps an ingenious living/dining room combination that you are really proud of - but which is quite tricky in terms of lighting? And now you're thinking: I'll never get a decent light there? Oh, don't worry, there's no need to despair. Because of course there is also the right lighting solution for tricky spatial situations - in addition to "normal" ceiling, wall, table and floor lamps. The magic word here is: rope systems!
From wall to wall or from wall to ceiling - this is how a cable system is usually installed in our four walls. And how exactly, you ask? Well, of course it's best if you don't have to worry about such questions at all. Because your trusted electrician knows all about it. This not only saves you a lot of time and work, but also a lot of nerves in case of doubt. Oh, I can manage that on my own, you think? Well then, we recommend that you take a look at the manual for your new rope system and study it carefully. This is because every cable system is supplied with good instructions that show you the various steps involved in installation.
And if you get stuck or have a question that simply baffles you - just send a quick message to our_ specialist advice service. We can help you with even the trickiest lighting issues. The_ contact data ? You can find it a little further down.
The cable length always depends on the transformer used and its power. But please note: The maximum lengths specified must not be exceeded for electronic transformers. You should also remember that the system length is usually always half the rope length (+/-). Why is that the case? Quite simply, because the rope is always double-guided.
You can usually find the specific system length in the product details or in the product description.
And if you still have a question - even on another lighting topic: Write us a message! We will be happy to help you. You will find the contact details a little further down _.
Plain and simple: in your living rooms. In the living or dining room. Or in the corridor or kitchen, for example. And low-voltage systems can even be used safely in children's rooms. But cable systems also cut a fine figure in conservatories. In the bathroom and other damp rooms, however, you should consider a different alternative due to the low protection rating. We can highly recommend ceiling lights or bathroom and mirror lights!
Justified question. But it's also very, very easy to answer. For example, because you have long or very angled rooms where you simply don't know how to get a reasonable amount of light. Or because you have sloping ceilings. In short: because you have one, two or many rooms in your home that are simply tricky in terms of lighting. But such a difficult spatial situation does not necessarily mean that you have to sit in the dark. No way! This is precisely where cable systems come into play. The flexible mounting of the cable (also with over-corner connections!) and the individual positioning of the lights mean that many variants and problem solutions are possible.
We also offer rope systems ...
Does every cable system always need a transformer?
It depends. And to what? Well, what rope system is already in your shopping cart? Do you have a low-voltage system? Then you will always need a transformer. This can then be placed directly on the power outlet. The low-voltage side is connected to the cable system. The advantage? Clearly! The transformer can also be placed somewhat off-center or on the wall. High-voltage systems, on the other hand, are operated directly with 230 volts - without a transformer**.
Of course. After all, why should LED technology stop at the cable systems and not provide a replacement here? Makes absolutely no sense. Manufacturers have also thought of this and offer a wide range of rope systems with LED. And to ensure that not only the dark corners in the room disappear after installation, but also the constant replacement of light sources, there are numerous cable systems with fixed LED technology. You can easily find out whether the cable system you have selected is suitable for LED lamps or even has permanently installed LEDs in the product details and product description.
Yes, some of them do. Others do not. This simply depends on the lamp types used. And the transformer. And which lights are dimmable and which are not, you ask? Oh, it's very easy. Just take a look at the product description and the product details - this is exactly the kind of information that is given there.
Still not clear on the subject of dimming cable systems? Also okay. Our specialist consultants are always happy to hear from you. You will find the contact details a little further down _.
Of course! And of course you can also find them in our store - there's no question about it. This means you don't have to search for the individual parts yourself, but get everything you need for assembly in a set - practical, isn't it? And where can I find them now, you ask? Quite simply here!
Yes, there is such a thing. And of course you can also find a whole host of accessories and spare parts here. Here you can put together your very own cable system - so individually that every unlit corner of your four walls will start to tremble with fright. I want it to be just as individual, but I don't know exactly how, you think? No problem. Simply call our specialist advice or write a short message and even the darkest corners of your four walls will get the shivers.
And what about spare parts, you ask? Of course, we have too. Under exactly the same link. Namely under Accessories. However, individual parts from complete sets are usually no longer available as spare parts. The best thing to do here is to contact our customer service straight away - we are sure to find a solution anyway.
