Funny, cool, simply different: chandelier with fabric shade

Anyone can make candles and crystal pendants. A cheeky version of the classic chandelier carries delightful shades and thus ensures both enthusiastic looks and a cozy atmosphere. It is well known that luminaires with fabric shades spread a cozy light. Provided they are equipped with a pleasant, warm white illuminant. Or in the case of chandeliers with shades: several of them.

How many shades should my chandelier have?

As is so often the case with interiors, it's a matter of taste. As long as the room you want to furnish is not the size of a storeroom, you can really choose what you like in terms of multi-flame. And the more little fabric umbrellas, the funnier and more unusual the look. There may also be more umbrellas. Under the filter "Number of bulbs" you can choose to your heart's content: from 3-24 shades.

What is the best way to clean chandeliers with fabric shades?

You'd love a chandelier, but how do you keep it dust-free? This is actually quite simple: When tension-free, simply dust with a feather duster or a microfiber cloth and you're done. The washing machine is out of the question, even when it comes to fabric umbrellas. And taking the umbrellas for a quick clean is even more taboo.

What styles are there?

You might assume that this is already the style: chandeliers with fabric shades. However, this unusual sub-category can of course also be filtered according to well-known styles. Do you fancy a chandelier with a fabric shade in country house style? Then simply tick the appropriate box in the filter in the store. Or select "Florentine ", "Maritime "** or "Scandinavian " and be surprised by the overview of results.

How high should a chandelier be hung?

There are a few key points that you should follow when hanging a chandelier: Placed above the dining table, a distance of approx. 60-70 cm between the lower edge of the light and the table surface is a good guideline. **The chandelier with fabric shades should be hung high enough in the room so that you can easily stand and walk under it.

Which shade colors are available?

Are fabric shade chandeliers also available with LED retrofits?

Do you finally want to take the plunge and switch to LED? We are very pleased about this, because the advantages of modern LED technology are convincing across the board. If you don't want to throw your cherished chandelier with shade out the door, simply treat it to a set of new LED bulbs. These are available with all common sockets that you know from light bulbs & co. That is why they are called retrofit lamps. Your base fits into the sockets of your old chandelier and lo and behold: you have simply converted to LED. Any questions? Are there also dimmable chandeliers with shades?

It would be a laugh if chandeliers with shades were not also available for dimming. After all, where fabric shades are a guarantee for cozy light, the option of dimming can take things up a notch in terms of cosiness.
