The brightness will depend on the size of your child's room, it must be neither too bright nor dark.
As our kid’s pendant lights are a playful addition to a room, they’ll never illuminate every nook and cranny, like a fixed ceiling light can, which is why it’s advisable to combine a pendant light with a table lamp to make sure the room is fully lit.
What is the optimum light colour for a child's pendant light?
The optimum light colour for ambient lighting in a kid's rooms is warm white — with a colour temperature of less than 3,300 Kelvin.
This makes the light in the room cosy and comfortable.
For area lighting in a nursery, however, white light of between 3,300 and 5,300 Kelvin is advisable.
Please keep in mind: due to the shadows they cast, pendant lamps should never be used as the main light source in a child’s bedroom.
