The trendy materials of rattan and bamboo really come into their own as pendant lights. Suspended above dining tables or in the room, they are at eye level so that the luminaire helps to shape and change the room. Bamboo and rattan are popular for their natural aesthetics, soft texture and the many possibilities to create unique designs using different weaving techniques and finishes. In contrast to pendant lights in country house/rustic stylefor example, hanging lights made of rattan and bamboo also have a slightly exotic touch.
Large rattan lights and large bamboo lights can make a decisive difference to a room. Thanks to its imposing size and the striking presence of the special materials, the large pendant light becomes a central design element and creates a warm and inviting room ambience. The individual weave pattern of the bamboo or rattan pendant light also contributes to the unique effect. When the light shines through, a fascinating pattern is created on the wall and ceiling.
When the bamboo pendant light or rattan hanging lamp combines the natural look of the materials with the additional colors black and grey, a contrast is created that conveys timeless elegance. Black color accents add a modern touch and also emphasize the individual braiding pattern. Grey tones harmonize particularly well with different furnishing styles and give the lights a subtle elegance that makes them compatible with a wide range of furnishing styles.
If the rattan or bamboo pendant light has a socket (e.g. E27 or E14), we recommend using LED lamps. These offer a number of advantages, including high energy efficiency and therefore lower electricity costs and a longer service life. If you buy an LED lamp for your pendant light made of rattan or bamboo, it is best to look for a cozy light color of <3,300 Kelvin (warm white). Similar to pendant lights made of wood and other lights made of natural materials, this color temperature optimally emphasizes the natural appearance of bamboo and rattan. Filament light sources also work best in open luminaires, as they combine the look of incandescent lamps with the advantages of LEDs. In addition to luminaires with sockets, there is also a large selection of pendant luminaires with permanently integrated LEDs in all styles and made of all materials.
