Single-phase busbars

Clever, individual room lighting

Spot Altra Dice Track for 1-phase high-voltage track

When is a track system used instead of a ceiling light?

Large rooms, multi-part kitchen work areas or long dining tables can rarely be illuminated with a single luminaire. If only a single power connection is available, a single-circuit track system can be used to illuminate the complex room situation.

What is a single-circuit conductor rail?

With a single-circuit track, all luminaires mounted on the tracks are operated via a common current-carrying conductor. Because they form a circuit, several lights can be switched on and off and dimmed together.

In this way, a personal lighting concept can be created for the individual room situation. The track systems are also used, for example, in studios or in shop window lighting. It is also an advantage that the lights can be repositioned on the track again and again. This allows them to adapt perfectly to changing facilities.

What is the difference between three-phase and single-phase conductor rails?

With a three-phase busbar, three current-carrying conductors are available. This allows different groups of luminaires to be switched on the same track system separately, i.e. split between the 3 phases. This offers great flexibility in the private and commercial sector.
