Are there outdoor ceiling lights with motion detectors?
Do you want it to be light when you turn the corner? This is a justified demand. And it makes perfect sense for outdoor use. What types of motion detectors are there?

However, there are already a few intelligent HF motion detectors that also work outdoors.
Tips for setting your motion detector: Simple motion detectors are already configured and no longer need to be set. Of course, there are also lights with motion detectors - as well as external motion detectors - where individual settings can be made. Possible settings are:
- the time: how long is the light on?
- the sensitivity of the twilight sensor: at what brightness should the light switch on automatically?
- the range of the detection area
Should you use LEDs for outdoor lighting?
The advantages of LED are simply convincing across the board. You don't really need to differentiate between outdoor and indoor areas. In outdoor areas, there are additional factors that make LEDs almost indispensable: LEDs become 100 percent bright as soon as they are switched on. If you think of a motion detector, that's a great feature. Because when you turn the corner in the dark, you want to benefit directly from the full brightness.
