Hotel lighting

Expressive and functional light adapted to your rooms

A visit to a hotel is a highlight - especially for vacationers. But conferences in selected hotels can also become an event in a professional setting. In order to achieve this, sophisticated lighting design not only helps to offer guests an uncompromising experience, but also to touch and inspire them emotionally with varied, interesting lighting scenarios.

What should you pay particular attention to with hotel lighting?

Planning lighting in a hotel is no easy task. In addition to complex regulations, each room must be adapted to the individual needs of the guests.

Lobby, restaurant and bar

Today, the lighting scenarios of the foyer, restaurant, bar and reception often overlap with each other, but still offer optimum conditions for individual purposes 24/7. The color temperature is often used to create an activating or particularly comfortable lighting ambience. Modern accent lighting makes areas such as the bar a visual delight.

Room

One room - many lighting solutions. In the hotel room, work and relaxation come together in the smallest of spaces. For this reason, each room must have extensive lighting equipment that can be operated by the guest, for example reading lamps, floor lamps, general lighting by ceiling lights or also checkroom lighting.

Outdoor lighting

The exterior of a hotel, its façades, entrances, terrace areas and balconies are a hotel's calling card. Properly staged, they create an inviting, professional impression from the outset, which inspires guests even before they actually enter the building. Numerous spotlights and spots with different beam angles, façade luminaires with modeled light and other luminaires offer extensive possibilities here.

Conference rooms

The hotel's meeting rooms deserve special attention in order to completely convince managing directors, managers and specialists from renowned companies. A color temperature that is suitable for concentrated work, for example, is just as important as a glare-free space for discussions. The DIN EN 12464-1 regulates the basics, but it is the lighting designer who makes it really breathtaking.
