Inspired by life - a characteristic feature of the Tolomeo desk lamp is the wire rope which is reminiscent of a fisherman's rod and allows the lamp's arm to be moved around seemlessly. In combination with the 360° rotatable lamp head, the Tolomeo lamp brings great flexibility and functionality to every desk.
The designer Michele de Lucchi
A time for big ideas: in the 1980s, the Italian designer Michele de Lucchi developed groundbreaking products for companies such as Philips, Siemens and, of course, Artemide. Today, the inspiring designer born in 1951 realises ambitious architectual projects such as the 'Triennale Design Museum' in Milan or the 'Neue Museum' in Berlin.
