What can you tell us about yourself?
My name is Eniko Kirkwood, I live in Newtownards in County Down. I am 33 years old and a civil servant. I am originally from Hungary but have lived in Northern Ireland for nearly 15 years.
How do you describe your individual style?
In the past I loved everything dark and maximalist. At the moment I prefer a wild mix of styles and elements. I like to add pops of colour into my interiors for a fresh and cosy home.
Why did you choose the EOS ceiling light and Hilma floor lamp?
The EOS ceiling light fits perfectly in the nursery. I love the entire EOS series by Umage as it’s versatile, unique and makes a real statement! The Hilma tripod floor lamp by Lindby creates a cosy atmosphere and is very stylish!
What is the most important thing for you when it comes to lighting?
The most important thing in lighting is the design for me. It has to look good to blend in with the interior.

What's your favourite light?
The Horizon pendant light by Ebb & Flow in rose brown and gold. The pendant lights above our kitchen island work perfectly in our newly renovated kitchen.
Which room do you like best?
My favourite room is our kitchen as it's the brightest room in the house. I also love the nursery, which I recently decorated in a Scandi look.

How do you bring cosiness to your garden?
For the patio and garden, nothing beats fairy lights. My favourite lights are white lanterns, which create a perfect atmosphere in the evening with their warm white light.

Who inspired your interior design style?
Great designers like Abigail Ahern and Rockett St George. My biggest inspiration - also in terms of lamps and lights - I get from Instagram!
What can you tell us about your house?
The house we live in was built in the late 1800s by the Andrews family - famous for designing the Titanic. It was originally used as a farmhouse and eventually extended by the previous owner.
Which products from our shop are on your wish list?
The floor lamp RAY F1 by Flos is definitely on my wish list. I also love the Alfred floor lamp by Karman. It's stylish and practical at the same time.
