Innovative Philips LED spot Pillar for the Hue system Whether used individually or in groups, the Pillar 2-bulb LED spotlight from Philips Hue is a versatile light source that is both modern and timeless. The two heads, which are already fitted with two Philips Hue White Ambiance GU10 LED bulbs on delivery, can be easily swivelled in the housing so that the light cone can be individually adapted to the room situation. Thanks to the innovative ZigBee technology of the bulbs supplied, it is possible to control the light via the Hue app. To do this, the downlight simply needs to be connected to the WLAN router via the Hue Bridge (available as an accessory). The bridge then ensures constant contact with the router, which in turn is controlled via the app. This allows the light to be controlled from anywhere. But that's not all the app has to offer, as it can be used to individually set and save not only the brightness but also the colour temperature - from a pleasant warm white to a refreshing daylight. Even sunrises or sunsets can be staged so that the light can be optimally adapted to the time of day. Alternatively, control via Bluetooth technology is also possible. This does not require an additional bridge or an existing smart home system. The Pillar spotlight is controlled directly via the appropriate Hue Bluetooth app using a smartphone or tablet. The light is also supplied with a dimmer switch, which can be used to control and dimm the light without integrating it into a smart home system or using an app.
