The gateway and an internet-enabled router are used to connect the lamp and the smoke detector so that the fire alarm is sent promptly to the smartphone and the appropriate steps can be taken. Both the smoke detector and the gateway emit a loud alarm sound, while the lamp emits a red light to draw attention to the danger and illuminate the escape route. Other components can be added depending on requirements and local conditions. For example, an external siren can indicate the location of the fire, a door lock drive can speed up the escape by unlocking the access points and facilitate access for rescue services.
