Z-Wave gateway from ABUS The Z-Wave gateway is the link between the App or Home system on the one hand and the Z-Wave sensors and control elements on the other. The gateway thus serves as a central enabler for home automation using Z-Wave. Z-Wave sensors and actuators from ABUS and other manufacturers can be integrated via the Z-Wave gateway for smart control via Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa or for app control via the smartphone. The sensors and actuators - from smart lamps and water detectors to door locks - communicate wirelessly with the gateway, which is connected to the router via a network cable. The ABUS Z-Wave gateway is also compatible with the Smartvest wireless alarm system from ABUS.
