Decorative and functional: LED desk lamp Aledin Dec

The desk lamp from the Aledin Dec series by Kartell is adjustable at many points of the frame: on both joints of the arms, and on the lamp head itself. This can be inclined. You will look in vain for a power cable along the aluminium arms which are coated in plastic. The aluminium strips are conductive and thus serve as a replacement for a cable. The height of Aledin Dec can be adjusted from 48 cm to 113 cm.

In terms of its design, the desk lamp has a modern, puristic style. Decoration is used sparingly, but purposefully, for example on the cone-shaped lampshade which is adorned with faceting.

The LED desk lamp Aledin Dec is a model produced by the Italian company Kartell. The Milan-based company became known as a pioneer as far as furniture, lights and other articles of daily use made of plastic are concerned. Designer pieces, such as miscellaneous chairs, tables and lights, have been created on behalf of Kartell over the course of the past seven decades and are now already amongst the classics.
