Function-oriented and minimalist design, presents the LED floor lamp Demetra Reading by Artemide. Warm white LEDs have been installed on the underside of the round lamp head and provide a pleasant and cozy light that creates a comfortable atmosphere in any living space. With the integrated microswitch dimmer you can regulate the brightness effortlessly. In addition, the floor lamp has a motion detector that saves money and energy. If you move away from the lamp and the sensor does not register any movement or person for 12 minutes, it switches the light off by itself. As soon as the sensor subsequently detects a person again, it automatically turns the light back on. The movable arms and the rotating and swiveling lamp head offer many practical adjustment options and allow the incidence of the light to perfectly adapt to any situation and to vary at will.

The functional design was created by the Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa and has already won several awards. The designer is a professor at the Integrated Design Department of Tama Art University and holder of the title Royal Designer for Industry (Royal Society of Arts). For Fukasawa, functionality is always the focus of his designs. Accordingly, his lights combine a wide range of applications with ergonomics, as the lights effortlessly adjust to the needs of the user.
