Discovery LED pendant light with horizontally aligned lampshade When unlit, the Discovery LED pendant light blends almost unobtrusively into any living environment. As soon as the lighting is switched on, Discovery gains visual volume. The large round surface made of technopolymer ensures wide-spread room illumination, which is particularly effective in a working environment. This innovatively designed LED pendant light is the creation of the Italian designer Ernesto Gismondi, founder of the lighting company Artemide in Pregnana Milanese in Italy, which has been synonymous with top quality design products since the year it was founded (1960).
Ernesto Gismondi is not only an outstanding designer who was honoured with the Compasso d' Oro for his life's work in 1994, he was also an associate professor of rocket engines at the Milan Polytechnic from 1964 to 1984. - externally dimmable - very good colour rendering: CRI90
