Direct and indirect LED pendant luminaire Eggboard Baffle in vertical alignment

When designing the Eggboard LED pendant luminaire, the focus was not only on the light but also on the acoustic effect. The material as well as the surface structure are sound-absorbing and designed precisely to support room acoustics optimised for the frequencies of the human voice.

The pendant luminaire is designed as a simple rectangle that is vertically oriented and has integrated LEDs on the narrow upper and lower sides. Eggboard Baffle provides diffuse indirect lighting and direct directional task lighting.

Eggboard Baffle is externally DALI-controllable - or via the freely available Artemide app for iOS and Android via smartphone or tablet. The canopy with power cable as well as the required elements for app control can be ordered separately via the accessories.

The Eggboard series was developed by Progetto CMR, an international cooperation of numerous architects and engineers. The Italian manufacturer Artemide is responsible for the production. Eggboard embodies particularly clearly its philosophy of creating lighting that is geared towards human needs.
