The Miconos pendant light combines round shapes and warm colours

The Miconos pendant light provides stylish and cosy lighting accents which show off any dining table or entrance area with excellent lighting. A round handblown glass sphere is held by a steel structure which provides golden accents with its satin brass finish. Another characteristic feature is the suspension of the lampshade, which is hung from the hook on the suspension system by an eyelet.

This designer light comes from the Miconos series of lights, which was designed by Ernesto Gismondi. He is the founder of the lighting manufacturer Artemide, which was founded in 1960 in Italy. Artemide has a number of research facilities and laboratories which are constantly looking for new trends, examining socio-cultural aspects and investigating a large number of materials with regard to their properties and how they work in combination with one another. Taking state-of-the-art lighting technologies into consideration, Artemide produces modern lights according to traditional manufacturing methods and has set itself the goal of reconciling man and nature through light.
