Atmospheric Amphora 02 patio light in rattan design A stylishly designed outdoor area of an idyllic restaurant or café - this is the ideal place for the Amphora 02 floor lamp manufactured in Spain. But the light, which has a high-quality rattan look, also enriches spacious private outdoor areas and, of course, interiors. Designed to fill its surroundings with a warm light, Amphora 02 creates a Mediterranean ambience that makes you feel good. The bulbous body of the luminaire was hand-woven from a synthetic wickerwork at Bover's headquarters in Barcelona. An ellipse made of polyethylene rests in the centre of the wickerwork, inside which the two light sources are located - perfectly protected from the elements thanks to IP code IP65. Starting from the ellipse, a multifaceted light spreads through the wickerwork into the area surrounding the light. The name and shape of this decorative light are reminiscent of ancient amphorae, which were already very popular in Roman times and in ancient Greece - not only as transport containers, but also for decorative purposes. Joana Bover, the founder of the Spanish light manufacturer Bover, has remained true to her original vision since 1996. Always maintaining a balance between quality and form, high-quality lighting objects are still produced by hand in Barcelona today.
