Valentina LED pendant light with two-coloured shade in wave design The concept of the Valentina LED pendant light is based on a round, curved shade with a smooth top, the edge of which traces a wave shape. The underside of the lampshade forms a contrast, with a contrasting colour and a structure of circumferential rings reminiscent of the gentle waves of the Mediterranean coast. This natural inspiration was captured by Alex Fernández Camps in the fascinating Valentina pendant light. The trained architect has focused on industrial design with his studio and sees the objects around us as cultural elements. Warm white LEDs are installed in the centre of the underside of the lampshade behind a satinised cover, the light from which is emitted evenly downwards at a wide angle and highlights the wave structure of the lampshade's interior. The brightness of the light can be adjusted using an external dimmer (triac). The Valentina LED pendant light is produced by the Spanish manufacturer Bover, a company founded in 1996 by Joana Bover, which is based in Barcelona and also manufactures its lights there. Products from Bover are characterised by a sophisticated design, the choice of high-quality materials and flawless workmanship.
