LED pendant light Derby ensures high visual comfort and optimised acoustics The Derby pendant light, which won the Reddot Award 2019, not only enriches its surroundings with its purist design, but also ensures optimised light and sound quality. The slightly curved lampshade fulfils a sound-absorbing function thanks to the materials used, as it absorbs some of the echoes that arise from KLINGS and ambient noise. As a result, the acoustics in the vicinity of the pendant light are cleansed of these noises and improved. Two LED light sources located on and under the lampshade ensure outstanding lighting quality. The upper light source projects the Warm light onto the ceiling and provides atmospheric ambient light. The light source on the underside of the lampshade is equipped with a blacklight filter that focuses the light beam and reduces glare, improving visual comfort. For this reason, the pendant light is particularly suitable for work areas where screens or displays are used intensively.
