Spherical lampshade made of glass - Glo-Ball T1 table lamp by Jasper Morrison Back in 1998, designer Jasper Morrison developed the Glo-Ball lamp series, which also includes the Glo-Ball T1 table lamp. According to Morrison, the concept behind these lights is to maximise the distribution of light. This is achieved with the glass shade, which is not quite in the shape of a ball but slightly oval and made of mouth-blown, etched opal glass. The designer, who like many other renowned designers works for the well-known Italian company FLOS, has deliberately focussed on minimalist design and aesthetics for the Glo-Ball T1 table lamp, which is in no way in danger of quickly going out of fashion. This is the best prerequisite for a product to become a classic - or even to have already become one.
