KTribe textile floor lamp - a designer piece from FLOS The chrome and beige colour combination of the KTribe floor lamp harmonises with countless modern living styles and makes this light source indispensable for the contemporary furnishing of private rooms and hotel rooms. The current design, which combines contemporary aspects with a classic shade shape, is the work of designer Philippe Starck, who created the Ktribe luminaire series for the Italian luminaire manufacturer FLOS. Philippe Starck has made a name for himself in furniture and luminaire design in many respects. He even designed the private rooms of the then President of the Republic in the Élysée Palace when he was in his mid-30s. His creative spectrum ranges from furniture and lights to designs for luxury yachts or an electric car, for example. KTribe also features a dimmer switch attached to the cable, allowing the brightness of the light to be adjusted to suit personal requirements.
