Iconic Snoopy designer table lamp with dimmer The Snoopy table lamp was designed by the brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. They came up with the idea for this extraordinary design back in 1967. The shape of the light is reminiscent of the popular cartoon dog Snoopy, who also gave the light its name. Snoopy consists of a white lacquered marble base and a metal lampshade. The materials used give the light a very stable and high-quality appearance. The integrated dimmer switch makes it possible to adjust the brightness of the light to ensure ideal lighting conditions at all times. The switch also allows the light to be switched on and off. As Snoopy has been part of the FLOS range since 1967, the table lamp is considered an icon of the well-known Italian lighting manufacturer. FLOS is responsible for the production of the light and is also known for using high-quality and durable materials. The company has been developing innovative lights for over 50 years without losing sight of its core values. FLOS has been honoured several times with the most important Italian industrial design award, the Compasso d'Oro. in 2013, the manufacturer received the Red Dot Design Award.
