The hanging lamp Grass XS catches the eye with its handmade lampshade, which is made of rattan and abacá. Abacá is a plant species from East Asia from the genus of banana plants and is used as a fiber plant, for example, for the production of ship ropes. The rounded shade is composed of several strips designed in different warm colors, creating a harmonious overall look. The canopy is made of metal and the cable is made of textile, both elements are in black. The pendant lamp emits light downwards and is ideal, for example, to illuminate the living room or dining room table. It also provides a natural touch to the living environment.

Grass XS was conceived by product designer Jette Scheib. Her goal with Grass was to express the tranquility that lies in the traditional weaving process, as well as the connection between basket makers and nature. The stripes in warm colors are meant to evoke the fields where the material for basketry grows. The pendant lamp was produced by the renowned lighting manufacturer Forestier.
