Floor lamp Oyster - Design product by Forestier
The shade of the Oyster floor lamp is the most striking feature of the lamp and is what makes it so special. The two rings are woven with cotton threads and made of metal. In the middle - just like an oyster - is the heart of the lamp, namely the "pearl": the light source. In order to avoid glare, it is covered by a round disc so that indirect light can escape into the room.
Jette Scheib is the designer of this lamp. Scheib studied in Berlin at the University of the Arts and lives and works today in Barcelona. She finds inspiration in her surroundings, the people and in how people handle objects. Although her lamps are functional, they also have their own personality and stand for atmospheric lighting.
