Derived from the Latin word "plumbum" for "lead,” the product name Aplomb in the lighting collection from Foscarini not only stands for weight, but also for balance and a secure stance. The shape and colour of the hanging light Aplomb Mini may well remind you of a sinking lead, as succinct and expressive as its small body hangs on the thin supply.

The Aplomb product range is characterized by the material specially manufactured for this collection. The special concrete mixture, which is cast into a mould during the elaborate production process, is based on a special composition. Thanks to this, the concrete surface is preserved, but at the same time it has a surprisingly soft feel. Kitchen tables, bar counters or counters that require direct, ad hoc lighting are the ideal locations for the little Aplomb Mini - whether as a soloist, as an arrangement with the same kinds of lights or in combination with the larger version.

Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere, the designer duo, are committed to combining new materials and technologies into innovative products. Among other things, the Aplomb lighting collection was created for the Italian lighting designers Foscarini.
