Chouchin is a pendant lamp whose design recalls traditional Japanese lanterns. These lampions, originally made of paper or bamboo, used in front of homes, shops and pubs for orientation or as a lucky charm, inspired the French designer Ionna Vautrin to design the Chouchin lamp series for the Italian lighting company Foscarini. In the modern living room, in restaurants, bars or other commercial areas, the Chouchin pendant luminaire made of mouth-blown and lacquered glass acts as an atmospheric light source. In addition to the direct light emission onto the surface below, the light is also emitted gently and flowing through the glass into the room, so that a very atmospheric and pleasant atmosphere is created.

The series Chouchin consists of lights in different shapes and different color schemes, which can be excellently combined with each other. With a coloured shade and white ring at the lower end, as a reverse version in inverted colouring or also completely monochrome designed, the series offers the right version for every room and every preference.
