In 1990, the architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni, who lives and works in Milan, designed the first Lumiere table lamp, which made the lighting company Foscarini famous. The luminaires of the series consisting of table, floor and ceiling luminaires have become design classics. The Lumiere 30th anniversary table lamp also fully lives up to this claim.
