Floor lamp Mite made of glass fabric and carbon fiber with dimming functionThe material mix of glass fabric and carbon fiber makes Mite an innovative floor lamp that fits well in numerous living environments thanks to its narrow shape that widens towards the top. The materials at the same time characterize the supporting structure as well as the design of the lamp. On the top side, the bulb is inserted and then emits light to the ceiling. In addition, the inside of the floor lamp is illuminated, so that its slender shape and design are particularly well accentuated. Either dimmable halogen or LED lamps can be used for lighting. The brightness can be infinitely adjusted via the switch integrated in the cable.With the design of the floor lamp Mite began in 2001 the collaboration between designer Marc Sadler and the renowned lighting manufacturer Foscarini. Due to the innovative design Mite was awarded the Compasso d'Oro and is now one of the cult models of Foscarini. Marc Sadler worked for a long time as an industrial designer in the sports industry and experimented with new materials and production processes, which distinguishes his work to this day
