Impressive designer pendant light Sun - Light of Love The lampshade of the Sun - Light of Love pendant light attracts everyone's attention, even when the light is switched off. It consists of 390 white lacquered metal rods, which are joined together to create a star or flower-like structure. You could also recognise the final sheaf of fireworks in it. The rods are grouped around the bulbs in such a way that the built-in LEDs cannot be seen. The light is reflected from the centre in such a way that a direct lighting effect is created and the surroundings are brightly illuminated. The creative mind behind this impressive luminaire design comes from the Netherlands and is called Tord Boontje. He broke a taboo and brought floral patterns into modern design from 2004. Das triggered a veritable Boom. His designs are sometimes artistic, sometimes minimalist. he founded his own Studio in 1996 and has since worked with many international companies on products in the fields of textiles, ceramics, lighting, graphics, installations and furniture. Some of his works are also exhibited in famous museums such as the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the MOMA in New York.
