Foscarini Tress grande LED - LED designer floor lamp with dimmer Tress is a designer floor lamp made of fibreglass composite material that found its way into the range of the world-famous luminaire manufacturer Foscarini in 2008 and has enjoyed great popularity as a special light sculpture ever since. The characteristic cylindrical shade of this floor lamp is created by wrapping a narrow band of fibreglass around a rotating cylinder and then hardening it with synthetic resin. The result is an interesting structure of randomly intersecting fibreglass ribbons that play with the incoming light in a seductive way. Two LED light sources installed in the Innes of the cylinder complement each other to create a perfect light show. While one light source is concealed in the Basis of the light, the other is located at the top of the diffuser. As soon as the warm white light is shone upwards into the diffuser, an incomparable light pattern is created on the floor and on the walls all around as the light makes its way through the numerous openings between the glass fibre band. The LED installed in the head of the diffuser complements the lighting effect of the floor lamp with reflected ambient light directed towards the ceiling. Tress is a lighting object that embodies lightness and playfulness, but also impresses with its clear presence. A dimmable control for infinitely variable brightness is located on the transparent cable.
