Timelessly elegant Champ designer pendant light for glare-free illumination The Champ pendant light, creatively designed by Danish industrial designer Philip Bro, focuses on the elliptical metal canopy, whose curved form ensures glare-free light emission, in keeping with Danish design tradition and the work of Poul Henningsen and Verner Panton. The canopy is colour-matched to the lampshade and the suspension system consists of a textile-coated cable. A very decorative light source for many living situations, Philip Bro mainly develops designs for lights, furniture and other furnishings. After graduating from the Danish School of Design in Copenhagen in 1989, he worked for various Danish design studios and founded his own Studio under the name Philip Bro Design in 2001. His designs feature rounded forms and often have an innovative touch. His clients are mainly Danish, including Andersen Möbel, Royal Copenhagen and Softline, as well as international companies such as IKEA, Miniso and Zumtobel. The Champ pendant light is produced by the Danish lighting company Frandsen, which has been known since 1968 for its exclusive design products that emphasise traditional craftsmanship and industrial functionality.
