This pendant lamp attracts all eyes and that even when the lights are not even turned on. Mela's shade is made manually from carefully selected veneer strips of light oak. These strips go off to the side of the body at the top, then spiral downward and are pulled inward in a semicircle. This way of making causes the shade - seen from the side - to form a sphere.
