The name Veneria derives from Venus, the Roman goddess of love and beauty, and the love of light as well as aesthetics characterizes the design of this noble light source, which with its light wood tone can be combined with numerous interior design options. Veneria's aesthetics, however, are not exclusively reflected in its appearance, with its spiral shape serving as an eye-catcher in any place in the home even when unlit. Its full appeal unfolds when the light is switched on, directed into the room from inside the wooden slats. Veneria can also be used as a ceiling lamp.

The lamp, handmade of wood, is produced by the young company Gofurnit in Cologne. The company, which has existed since 2019, dedicates itself with great devotion to the design and manual production of wooden lamps, each of which speaks for itself in its uniqueness. In doing so, GoFurnit sets sustainability standards in production, sales and shipping. Upcycling is also a high priority at Gofurnit. Nothing is wasted; the wood scraps left over from production are used to make beautiful fruit bowls and bookmarks, which - like the lamps - bear the Gofurnit logo.
