The creative mind behind this fascinating home lighting option is Louis Weisdorf (1932-2021), a well-known Danish architect and designer.After graduating from the Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 1954, he devoted himself to industrial, graphic and interior design and worked in a variety of fields, including the leisure sector and construction. For ten years he served as chief assistant to chief architect Simon P. Henningsen (son of legendary lighting designer Poul Henningsen) at Copenhagen's Tivoli amusement park. In the late 1960s, he established his own design studio in Copenhagen. During his active time he collaborated with other renowned designers, including Poul Henningsen, Verner Panton and Le Klint.Manufactured the pendant lamp Multi-Lite from the Danish manufacturer Gubi, which specializes in the production of high-quality furniture and lighting since its founding in 1967 by Lisbeth and Gubi Olsen.
