This table lamp is a real eye-catcher, because unlike most others, it consists of a shade attached to a frame at the top and open at the bottom. This makes it look like the shade is hanging in a picture frame. The frame and the shade of the Light-Air are made of plastic. The shade also has an embossing, through which the light that penetrates to the outside is refracted, creating a pleasantly warm atmosphere. The lamp series Light-Air was created by the Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet for the Italian designer brand Kartell.

With this lamp, the Italian manufacturer Kartell remains true to its tradition of furniture made of plastics. Already various internationally renowned designers collaborated with Kartell and designed true masterpieces. The company is so successful that it has even founded its own museum to preserve, promote and highlight the heritage of the company.
