Floor lamp Opyo in the shape of a poppy
In the Opyo floor lamp, Italian designer Cristina Celestino combines the charm of the forbidden, the charm of the natural and the elegance of glass and brass. On a long stem made of brass-coloured lacquered metal, a mouth-blown shade made of two-layer opal glass is enthroned, which is modelled on the capsule of the poppy seed. This plant serves as raw material for the strictly regulated narcotic opium, which gives the floor lamp its name.
