It is powered by three AA batteries. The batteries are available separately from the accessories. The fairy lights cable is green so that it is not visually distracting when the chain is decorated around a plant, for example. KNIRKE can be controlled using a remote control (see accessories); this enables convenient switching and setting the run-on time to 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours.
