The black, three-legged metal frame of the Atticus floor lamp is complemented by a cylindrical shade made of anthracite-colored slate stone. The Bavaria-based manufactory LeuchtNatur has discovered stone as one of the exquisite natural materials for their extraordinary creations. Cut into wafer-thin veneer with the help of water jet and then pressed onto a textile carrier, slate can be processed into lampshades.
