Designer hanging light Cirque - a successful interplay of colours and shapes Thanks to its special colour and shape design, the Cirque hanging light is not only an eye-catcher in the room when switched on, but also when unlit. This is partly due to the beautiful colour gradation and partly to the shape, which was inspired by the famous onion domes in the Tivoli Gardens. The gradation of the individual colours refers to the perception of colours in circular motion, often perceived as continuous lines. The lampshade is made of drawn aluminium and painted white on the inside, ensuring optimal reflection of the soft light, which is directed downwards and also glare-free. Cirque is a design by Clara von Zweigbergk, who was born in Stockholm and worked for advertising agencies and design studios in Stockholm, Los Angeles and Milan after completing her studies (graphic design and illustration). She now has her own graphic design studio and is ideally placed to combine her many areas of interest. The Cirque light series by the designer, who has won the Wallpaper Design Award 2012 and the Swedish Design Award 2012, was created in collaboration with the light company Louis Poulsen, which is dedicated to the art of giving form to light.
