Elegantly designed LED wall lamp Flindt – Ø 30 cm

The Flindt wall lamp, which stands out thanks to its very expressive lighting, allows indoor and outdoor areas to be seen in a whole new light. The creator of this discreetly designed and at the same time very striking light source is the Danish designer Christian Flindt, who continues the product line he had already developed for Louis Poulsen with the Flindt wall lamp. The designer has been working in his own studio since 2003 and, since 2006, with the world-famous manufacturer of high-quality designer lights in Scandinavian design, Louis Poulsen. In 2014, he was awarded the ELFORSK Prize by the Danish Ministry of Energy and Electricity for the eponymous bollard light.

When viewed from the side, the Flindt LED wall light looks like a slim ellipse made up of two overlapping ovals. The shape is slightly raised from the wall mounting, creating the illusion that the light is floating. To achieve a harmonious relationship between proportions, curves and light, Christian Flindt combined software technology, the latest 3D printing processes and metal die casting to create this wall lamp. The light is generated by two warm white LEDs, emitted from the opening at the top and distributed downwards. Part of the light is emitted towards the back, creating indirect, half-moon shaped lighting with a very atmospheric light effect.
