Designer pendant lamp PH 5 in modern monochrome optics provides diffuse light

The classically striking design of the famous PH 5 pendant luminaire is complemented by the monochrome colours and the matt lacquered shades with a contemporary look. Thanks to the interesting three-shade system, the light reflects itself again and again. The majority of the light produced is emitted downwards, the emission is completely glare-free and immerses the room in a cosy atmosphere. The light rays emitted to the side ensure that the entire room is discreetly illuminated and that the luminaire itself also begins to shine.

The delicate connecting rods made of rolled aluminium give the luminaire a special touch and underline the variety of shapes of the PH 5, which complement each other perfectly and are rounded off by the uniform colouring. The PH 5 pendant lamp was designed in 1958 by the Danish designer Poul Henningsen. He thus reacted to the constantly changing shapes and sizes of light bulbs. It owes its name to the size of the main shade, which has a diameter of 50 cm. The designer lived from 1894 to 1967 and created numerous designer lamps for the traditional Danish company Louis Poulsen, which has been producing designer lamps for over 100 years.
