Elegant, three-bulb VL Ring Crown hanging light
The VL Ring Crown hanging light captivates with its understated elegance and its organic shape. The three lampshades, which are made of handblown opal glass, primarily emit the light downwards. This makes the light particularly suitable for the illumination of a dining table. The opal glass produces a diffuse light to the sides and lights up the lampshades. The lampshades are attached to a semi-matt brass frame, which is untreated and may therefore change over time.
The lamp’s design is based on the designs of Vilhelm Lauritzen from the 1940s for the Radiohus broadcasting building and has now been included in the product range of the brand manufacturer Louis Poulsen. Lauritzen was one of the most important architects in Denmark and designed the first Copenhagen Airport and the Nørrbro Theatre, for example.
