VL Ring Crown pendant light creates a pleasant atmosphere

Louis Poulsen is characterised by high-quality materials and attractive, classic designs - and these features are found in the VL Ring Crown pendant light. The elegant handblown opal glass lampshade is open at the bottom and emits a direct, bright light that is primarily suitable for the illumination of a dining table. The light is also distributed around the lampshade through the glass and bathes the entire room in a soft light.

The mount and the canopy are made of untreated brass and give the light an elegant look due to their golden colour.

The creator of this beautiful light is the Danish architect and designer Vilhelm Lauritzen. He consistently incorporated daylight into the buildings he designed, in order to put the focus on the rooms themselves, away from the walls. This is precisely the idea that he projected onto his lights, in which he combined a powerful, targeted light with a weaker, diffuse light.
