Handblown glass is the material which plays a prominent role in the table lamp Blubb. In terms of its shape, Blubb is designed in such a way that the lampshade and the frame merge and that the entire light is almost literally cast from a single mould. It is, however, not cast, but blown into shape. The artistic glass production takes place in the factory of next, a designer light manufacturer, in Cologne.
The integrated dimmer on the cable allows the brightness to be adjusted to suit your individual requirements. Please note that only LED bulbs should be used with the table lamp Blubb. The diameter of the light bulb should not exceed 11 cm.
The table lamp Blubb was designed by the designer Constantin Wortmann from Munich. He has worked almost exclusively for next for many years. Before he designed for the lighting company in Cologne, he worked for Ingo Maurer, one of the best-known lighting designers in Germany.
