3-bulb wall or ceiling light DNA Wall/Ceiling from next Whether ceiling or wall-mounted - both are possible with the designer light DNA Wall/Ceiling, as the name suggests. What the name of the light also reveals is the inspiration behind the design of this model. The Hopf & Wortmann design team based the shape on the structural model of a DNA molecule. The idea was to imitate an organically growing structure. The "atoms" of the model - represented by Globe bulbs (exclusive) - are connected by a plastic structure. The DNA Wall/Ceiling light is a product of the Cologne-based light manufacturer next, which has been producing lights labelled "Made in Germany" at its Cologne site since 2005. Constantine Wortmann, one half of Hopf & Wortmann, has already worked with the well-known luminaire designer Ingo Maurer.
